This sculptural cluster is an amazing and totally unique miniature grouping of what look to be melted Acanthite "crystals" from the silver mines of Fresnillo, Mexico! This very singular specimen is composed of two, separate, alien-looking, variably rounded forms that, believe it or not, have small, barely perceptible, flat looking areas in places that resemble crystal faces. The two malformed Acanthite "groups" are connected by the tiniest bit of white Calcite. The Acanthites are smooth and look more like modern art than the normal kind of Acanthite crystallization we expect from here, or anywhere! A very unusual and sculptural piece to say the least! From a small, strange pocket of 2018.
