A well-formed caramel coloured crystal of stibiotantalite from the Muiâne pegmatite. A very rare locality combined with very large size for this species !The 4.5 x 3.5 x 2.0 cm crystal has good luster and translucency which are hard to find for the species. A small pinkish-red tantalite-(Mn) sits on the back of the specimen for added interest. Large crystals of stibiotantalite are extremely hard to find. Old piece from a Dubois collection out of France.
