A sharp and complex "pyramid-like" Fluorite from China, from older finds at this working mine. Although overall octahedral in shape, casual inspection shows the three component crystals to be aggregates of small, stair-stepped cubes that resemble a Mayan temple. The geometric intergrowth of the three crystals is fascinating. The Fluorites are an alluring medium green that is enhanced by the internal and external play of light on and within the piece resulting in an overall shimmer effect. The back of the specimen is frosted with white, glistening, drusy Quartz for added appeal. In excellent condition. Old material, classic for the locality (probably from about ten years ago)
