Description
Rhodochrosite from the Wutong Mine is a classic find, with giant amazing crystals coming out in the early 2000s. However, it has been largely quiet since that time. Only a few major pockets have come out, among them this surprising pocket of rhodo in association with stark white baryte. This is, worldwide, a very unique and special combo we have not seen before. This piece is 3-dimensional and nicely complete, pretty on its own merits as a rhodochrosite. But, the association adds interest. From a small 2022 pocket.
