Sharp, gemmy, intensely saturated deep green crystals to 3.4 cm cover a plate of pyrite on this rare large matrix specimen from modern production in Peru. This is the first time in history we have seen green fluorite on pyrite, and the combination and contrast, when we can get it here, makes for the best specimens - and adds value. This is one of the larger plates recovered in pristine condition showing such an association, and is literally a color burst in any showcase with such a saturated green color that the closest description is to jolly rancher green candies. It is NOT the same green as other green fluorite from other locales, but more strong and saturated. As a bonus, these seem to fluoresce strong purple.
