Description

A stunning gem crystal of the utmost blue saturated color, this is, gram for gram, one of the finest examples of this rarely crystallized species that could be obtained. Linarite, even when crystallized, is rarely gemmy. This is also from what is considered the best locality for the species, in terms of fine crystals (although historically rare, even here). At just a hair over 1 cm tall, this is competitive-worthy for fineness, color, and rarity points all. Formerly in the collection of Ernie Schlichter, before passing on this friend Shields Flynn.
