Description
This is a large, balanced, hand sized skeletal quartz from a recent 2019-20 discovery in Mexico, featuring unusually sharp growth patterns such as hoppering, fenstering, and with clay inclusions. It is 3-dimensional and much more impactful in hand. While such quartz crystals are found often from Namibia or Brazil, they are very rare from Mexico and this is a superb example in the size range, with unusually high quality of color and luster. Avila selected from a large discovery and kept it for his personal collection.
