These "green ice cubes" are some of the most water clear, transparent, gemmy fluorites we have ever seen from anywhere (!!), and come out of a late 2019 pocket here. I bought this directly from the miner's highgrade stash at his home in Chezhou, in January of 2020 on my last trip to China before Covid. This was, to my eye, one of the most choice and stunning miniatures because of the combination of crystal size, balance, and color. While tonnage has been found here previously, since the 1990s, this is something else altogether - another level of quality we had never seen from the locality. Recent production since 2018 has led to some new pockets in this old mining area, due to renewed interest from municipal authorities in sponsoring mining. Most of the new finds were flat plates, but a few pockets yielded these three-dimensional treasures. One of the miners there has a particularly good eye combined with skill in extraction, and was able to preserve this undamaged.
