Native Lead
Native lead, let alone crystallized native lead, is actually quite rare, which many collectors are unaware of. Only a few localities in all the world have ever produced specimens. Specimens like this, with an aesthetic form and subhedral crystals up to 7 mm, are uncommon even among that group. This is old and classic material, and this piece is blessed with a sculptural and attractive form, from the most famous locality for lead crystals - Langban, Sweden. Purchased from Scott Williams in the 1950s. (#1350 in the collection),
