Cerussite
In any form, Cerussite is rare from the mines at Bisbee. This fine miniature is a very dense snowflake consisting of narrow, reticulated twins. The translucent crystals have an adamantine luster that is superb, with good translucence and an attractive pearl white color. There is a little bit of contacting on the back, but the specimen is pristine otherwise. This is a quality, uncommon specimen from a famous mining area. Very good aesthetics. Ex. Paul Harter collection. I bought it from Les Presmyck, who confirmed that this particular style was self-collected by a mine engineer and collector named Jack Schissler, in the 1950s. I have seen only three of these for sale in over 20 years of looking.
