Pyromorphite
A very colorful, small cabinet cluster of neon-apple-green, translucent Pyromorphite prisms with delectable wet-look luster from the San Andres Mine of Spain. It is the most neon green Pyromorphite you can ask for from this classic locale! Bright, lustrous and translucent, apple green crystals of Pyromorphite to 1.5 cm in length are in small to medium groups scattered about the display face of the piece. There are also numerous, 1 mm crystals scattered about the piece everywhere that makes the entire piece scintillate. Even the bottom of the specimen is loaded with crystals! This is out of the Robert Reynolds collection and most likely from older 1980s mining efforts at this Spanish locality. Ex. Robert Reynolds collection (with a label from the San Diego dealer Webers, which helps us date it back to the 1980s find as well). The older finds had bigger crystals generally, like this. Later finds of the 1990s had generally smaller crystals, and very few had this saturated neon color.
