Pyrite
Stunningly sharp crystals of pyrite are of course known from Spain, Peru also, but seldom from China. In the 1990s and early 2000s, however, the famous Shangbao Mine produced some of the world's most amazing natural pyrite crystals in such sharp cubes, and then the mining transitioned to fluorite and quartz, without much pyrite coming out since the early 2000s. This is an oldtimer, probably from the 1990s, featuring razor sharp crystals to 3 cm. I am not kidding about the sharpness - you can cut a finger on these. It is a fabulous, display quality example, from the Kurt Hefendehl collection.
