An impressive and aesthetic, large cabinet plate studded with glassy, water-clear amethyst crystals from the famous deposits at Piedra Parada, Mexico. The highly lustrous crystals have very pleasing purple color and reach 3.0 cm. The amethyst crystals rest on a bed of small quartz crystals infused with tiny epidote blades. Nearly pristine. Ex. Franz Saller Collection, of Bavaria.
