Southern Illinois produces Fluorites with a distinctive shade of light blue, one that is not seen very many other places. This miniature displays this shade very nicely, and it is accented by just a hint of whispy purple seen near the core. The luster is silky to good, and the crystals are quite gemmy. The largest Fluorite is up to 1.8 cm on edge. A fine representative piece of this desired color, and then we just added in the Ruby Jack Sphalerites on matrix and you have an aesthetic, well-balanced miniature. RCL 1386. (MORE GEMMY In PERSON)
