These are relatively new specimens to the market, but they are very unqiue and attractive. This piece features several, pale green spherical aggregates of Prehnite measuring up to 1.4 cm sitting on Quartz matrix. The Quartz crystals themselves are unique as they appear to be "Smoky," but seem to have encountered some kind of irradiation or possibly a selective deposition of another mineral giving them a very flashy "two tone" appearance between colorless and a very deep blackish color. There also appears to be some micro green Epidote crystals associated as well, which to the best of my knowledge is a first from this locality. A beautiful Prehnite specimen from this locality that is best known for the superb Babingtonite crystals that were recently found. 11.5 x 8.7 x 6.5 cm
