The Daye area has been producing such a broad variety of fine specimens, many of them completely different variations of the same species, that it is always exciting. This is from a new fluorite find, and as you can see here, you have a golden cube of fluorite with a subtle purple phantom in it sitting right next to one that has a more dominant purple phantom - so that you get the effect of two different colors of fluorite sitting side by side! The larger crystal measures 2 cm on edge, the smaller, 1.5 cm.
