Distinctive, large plate of grey-green Fluorites with purple phantoms from the Cacilia Mine in Bavaria. The flat-lying and intergrown Fluorites, which range up to 2.2 cm, are translucent and lustrous. In addition to the phantoms, there are numerous, micro-spots caused by small amounts of radiation causing coloring centers in the fluorite. With excellent fluorescence as a bonus, this is a fine, exceptionally large, and refined specimen for an old classic locale! Prominently illustrated in the recent 64-page article on Kay in Mineralien Welt (6-2017). Kay had a suite of these in her German collection and treasured them. I have not seen for sale elsewhere in such quality and quantity as the stash that she had put away since the 1960s.
