This is a big and extremely fine Australian prehnite. This is not just a shapeless lump, but is covered with quite sharp-edged crystals that stand up in good relief. This large and heavy specimen is solid prehnite, a solid crust 4-cm thick. What really does not come through well at all in the photo is the very pretty sea-foam green color.
