The locality is familiar (for wavellite), but the COLOR is not! This is a specimen of YELLOW wavellite from a small recent find in Arkansas. The botryoidal form with radial crystals forming the balls is typical, but this is brand new in terms of color, certainly not your typical pea-green - and therefore a very unique find for the species!
