Schorl, Quartz
Super lustrous, jet-black schorl prisms in parallel- and perpendicular-growth form a very aesthetic specimen from the Erongo Mountains. The large vertical schorl "crown" is striking and the quartz needles at each end are a very nice accent. The schorls in the front are doubly terminated and there is only a bit of contacting on each side. A high quality Erongo schorl specimen.
