Emplaced on massive yellow calcite and lustrous, massive black sphalerite, are many lustrous and translucent, bi-colored fluorite crystals, to 4 cm across. The fluorite crystals have amber yellow cores and purple color zoning at the terminations. This is a large, hefty specimen for the style and is very showy on a shelf. Classic Annabel Lee material. Note: Not from the Ross Lillie Collection, but a good fit for the material.
