Chalcopyrite from this old mine is usually seen in the form of clusters of small crystals, stacked up in small clusters. This is a massively larger specimen than one would normally see, with exceptionally larger crystals than the norm, as well. All is in fine condition, nearly pristine, and with exceptional three dimensionality - overall a very significant plate of this species from a classic old European location! Joe Budd Photos.
