A very dramatic and visually distinct specimen of Swiss amethyst, this shows the scepter habit of quartz and amethyst is already somewhat rare for Swiss quartz. Apparently, this was a well known specimen in Switzerland from a private museum collection, before selling to Brent Lockhart through his Swiss scouts at Siber & Siber there, in 2017. It features a dramatic scepter of amethyst perched atop stark white quartz crystals, all without repair and on a well balanced matrix. It is pristine except for the tiniest of tiny little dings on the tip, which we filled with a small restoration (invisibly, as it is very tiny indeed).
