A fine and rich example of an American classic! These unusually LUSTROUS rutile crystals, to 2.5 cm, have a deep reddish cast to them. Sometimes these rutiles are standalone, matrix-free crystals, but I really like how these are set against the matrix. Acquired by B.E. Lockhart in the 70s.
