Very sharp, splendent, jet-black, tetragonal hausmannite crystals intergrown in striking pagoda-like clusters and set beautifully on matrix of drusy andradite garnet. The excellent luster causes these crystals to sparkle even in medium light. An excellent specimen by any standard. The world's finest hausmannites come from the Kalahari Manganese Field and this is a very fine example.
