An open vug in massive dioptase ore acts as the host for a cluster of sparkling, dark emerald green, crystals of dioptase. The crystals average about 1.0 cm across. Very rich, and showy, and elegantly demonstrative of how they occur in nature in a pocket or "bubble" in the cavities!
