This erythrite is from Mexico. Vivid pink to magenta radial, fibrous, acicular crystal clusters richly and aesthetically cover the matrix on this fine specimen. Rich cobalt-nickel ore here. A very uncommon specimen on the market, as this is old material from over 30 years ago (or more). Seldom seen in such rich pieces today and from an uncommon locale - the Sara Alicia Mine, Sonora. Ex. Mullane Collection and accompanied by an old Bourget Bros. label.
