A gemmy and lustrous, 3.8 cm, watermelon-colored tourmaline nicely attached to the side of a large albite crystal, with two sides of the albite preferentially coated with lepidolite from the famous old Cruzeiro Mine. This is a large albite crystal for the locale. The pinacoid termination is nicely lustrous and a minor bruise, at the base of the crystal, is barely noticeable. This is from the ed ruggeiro collection, circa 1970s 6.9 x 5.1 x 4.7 cm
