Rich, gemmy, raspberry-red caps the unusually-shaped, pyramidal termination of this very glassy, well-striated crystal from an uncommon pegmatite in Madagascar. This complete-all-around and pristine crystal has a dark, cherry-red, opaque body. Ex. Robert Whitmore Collection. Weighs 57 grams.
