Gemmy, "invisible," water-clear, intergrown, cubic fluorite crystals to 1.4 cm form a striking and aesthetic cluster atop matrix studded with small fluorite cubes on this excellent specimen from the Nikolaevskiy Mine at Dal'negorsk. All of the fluorite crystals in the cluster are pristine, have stepped-growth faces and skeletal features and the secondary crystal faces are very interestingly, preferentially etched. Common in the 1990s, these are hard to fine today in good specimens. These are considered contemporary classics.
