This very gemmy, glassy-terminated old Santa Rosa tourmaline is from old Ed Swoboda finds while he was working in Brazil in the 1940's. The glassy green hue is really exquisite and such color stands out dramatically from modern Pederneira Mine material (brighter and more grassy in hue). He recently passed on some minerals to the Seibels, who brought them to Costa Mesa. So not only is it a beautiful tourmaline from old finds at the Santa Rosa, it also has a superb pedigree.
