This is a superb azurite from the Tsumeb Mine. The piece is really attractive, featuring a sharp, robust, freestanding crystal like a boat-tower right in the middle of the piece. The color is a rich azure blue, even in minimal light - unusually bright for a Tsumeb azurite, so many of which are very dark to near black in color unless you light them with a torch. Ex. University of Arizona and Miguel Romero Collections.
