A beautiful, 1960s-era polychrome tourmaline from the Santa Rosa Mine of Brazil. The gemmy and lustrous, emerald-green body, with a hint of teal-blue, has a narrow, teal-blue zone just below the lustrous, black, slanted, complex pyramidal termination. Complete-all-around and very nearly pristine. The base is actually healed. Classic, old-time material from this renowned locale. Ex. Steve Smale Collection. Weighs 14 grams.
