Formidable cabinet specimen consisting of well-formed, triangular Tennantites, along with Dolomite and Quartz. The Tennantites average up to 1.5 cm on edge, and many are complete all around, showing a triangular habit with beveled edges. The luster is shimmery and metallic, with a color that ranges from grey to golden silver. These are quite good Tennantites. In association are white Dolomite Rhombs and small, well-formed acicular Quartz crystals. Euhedral Quartz crystals from Tsumeb are relatively rare, so this fine combination piece is both uncommon and aesthetic for what it is - and few heavy tennantites of such size, I think, survived the ore carts.
