Quartz (Var: Citrine)
I have told my Russian contacts to give me ANY citrines they can fine, as they are just extremely difficult to come by. I have gotten maybe 4 or 5 of them over the past year, and I have not seen anyone else with any more. Though citrines from Brazil are fairly common, they represent one of the rarer things to come from Russia lately. This specimen features a large, sharp, pristine crystal with unusual chevron zoning patterns inside, next to an equally perfect smaller one. 6.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm
