Epistilbite is a more uncommon zeolite group mineral. In the middle of the vug, on druzy quartz lies an ivory colored, lustrous and translucent, spherical epistilbite 2.3 cm in length. Large and aesthetic examples of this species, such as this piece, are uncommon even among the vast production at this locality. From the collection of Marty Lewadny.
