Amongst the fine prehnites coming from Mali, very few are on matrix, as this one is, and it really adds a lot. These prehnite balls on matrix appear much like those strang egg-yolk-like fluorites from Nasik, India. Out of the side of the largest prehnite pokes an epidote crystal, the typical assocation from this locality. The largest prehnite ball measures 2 cm. 7.2 x 4.2 x 4.4cm
