A HUGE plate of rhodochrosite that has pseudomorphed Baryte crystals, retaining their original form! Massive rhodochrosite at the edges of the specimen serves as a backdrop for the 3-dimensional, almost wormy-looking cylindrical rhodo pseudomorphs. Each of these cylinders actually consists of many small rhodo crystals with faces that give the specimen a sparkly luster. A big, rich example from this fascinating find! 15.5 x 13.8 x 5 cm
