An old-time, classic specimen of a knob of lustrous, striated, jet-black hausmannite crystals jauntily perched on massive hausmannite matrix from an unknown mine at or near the Type Locality in Thuringia, Germany. The dominate, doubly terminated crystal is 1.3 cm and the largest crystal is 1.5 cm. Ex. George Elling Collection.
