This fine specimen features gemmy and lustrous rhodochrosite microcrystals richly scattered on sparkly, manganite ore matrix from a rare and old-time locality, the Moanda Manganese Mine in Gabon. This material came out in the 1960s and 1970s. Ex. George Elling Collection.
