A very RICH, classic, old-time azurite specimen on matrix from the Ting Tang Mine of Cornwall, England. The sparkly, azurite-lined vug is especially noteworthy. This antique is easily over 100 years old and comes with 4 labels, including 2 from Cornwall mineral dealers Dick Barstow and P Paul Lowe - both very respected dealers and authenticators of odd English material. Ex Mark Feinglos Collection in a trade to me. This is exceptionally rich for what it is. Obviously it doesnt look like much compared to azurite from elsewhere but the piece has historical and rarity significance beyond its visual beauty. It is admittedly hard to value, but I will say the odds of finding another are nearly nil so if you want one...this is probably gonna be it. 8.3 x 6.2 x 3.7 cm
