This small cabinet Pyrite specimen is composed of bright and lustrous and octahedrons. Just over 3 cm on edge, these octahedrons have attractive, cut-glass-like cubic modifications on each of the corners. Interestingly, the only faces that are striated are these modified corners. I have always found preferential effects to be fascinating, and these are attractive as well! If you are not jaded about Pyrites, you have to admit how eye-catching Pyrites can be!
