An oddly elegant, twisted, strangely beautiful specimen that just stands out! This doubly-terminated elbaite cluster is glassy and translucent, with a rich teal color at the bottom 1 mm of the bottom termination as shown here to prove it is from Mawi (these tips sometimes occur there). The "sidecar" crystals" also are complete and beautiful. Pristine, complete 360 degrees all around, and highly unusual - better in person! The mass is 47 grams. From an older collection and probably from 1990s finds.
