A dramatic and elegant watermelon tourmaline from recent finds at the Pederneira Mine of Brazil. The striking, gemmy and lustrous, main crystal has cranberry-red running throughout the length of the core of this beauty. The very thin green rind is beautifully capped by a teal-blue zone and the termination is a super-lustrous purple. The exquisite sidecar crystals at the base really add character to this fine piece. The long sidecar is pristine. The couple of other crystals have broken tips and there is slight contacting on the main crystal termination.
