Kyanite is generally seen as rather dull and opaque crystals embedded in quartz. This, however, is a huge cluster of giant, freestanding, translucent crystals, with gorgeous sky-blue color! The crystals measure up to 14 cm in length! Most of the terminations are intact, as well (they have the typical rough terminations you see on these). There is a wonderful surface luster on these - they really shine.
