A UNIQUE and aesthetic Tsumeb pseudomorph of matte-gray tennantite after a very sharp azurite crystal with a fine, chisel termination. Some say they are after chalcocite, but I do not believe that is universal in any case. The pseudo is jauntily attached to tennantite with malachite matrix. The crystal is complete all-around and is undamaged. Formerly in the G. Linde Collection, a Tsumeb miner from 1921-1935 and Ex. Brent Lockhart Collection. Superb example of this rare alteration.
