Just north of the Brooks Range in Alaska's north slope, is the Prudhoe Bay oil field, the largest ever discovered in the U.S. A. Clearly visible silver is emplaced on this matrix specimen from the nearby mountains...and interesting ore sample! There is a small speck of golden material as well...at least Harold thought it to be gold, and I have'nt analyzed to confirm.
