A whopper garnet specimen COVERED with big, sharp, lustrous crystals - with an incredibly sculptural and 3-dimensional form rather than being a boring flat plate. It stands up perfectly on the bottom contact. There are HUNDREDS of crystals here, measuring to an impressive 2.5 cm across, with a pretty coffee color, with a hint of green, a bit reminiscent of certain sphalerites; the luster is superb, so their faces really flash. Old material once common in the early 90s, now hard to obtain.
