This specimen has an unusual type of cerussite with discrete coloration due to chromium rich content, and the sharp crystals reach .7 cm across. In person, they are a bit more yellow than appears here. Studded on the cerussite are bright orange prisms of crocoite, to .3 cm across. Rare and unusual material to begin with but in association with crocoite...this I have only but once before seen for sale! For some reason, the cerussite and crocoite zones seem to not overlap often. This is an old piece, though I do not know how old. Ed thought 30-40 years.
