A fine specimen from Tsumeb. An elongate vug in lined with very pleasing, apple-green cuprian smithsonite rhombs. The gemmy and lustrous, stout crystals reach 7 mm and the matrix is massive milky quartz. Quartz is relatively uncommon at Tsumeb. The older, handwritten label accompanying the piece says Arlene Handley, Oct. 1972.
